Oh Christmas (and Chanukah) in the city, does it get more beautiful?  The elaborate window displays and perfectly placed decorations make this season so festive.  Unfortunately,  this is also the time of the year when New Yorkers are outnumbered by tourists 4:1.

This Wednesday traffic will be even more complicated.  President Obama will be attending the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Gala on Wednesday which begins at 5:30 P.M. at the Hilton/Midtown on Sixth & 53rd (just two blocks away from Radio City Musical Hall).  Other notable guests include New Jersey Governor Murphy and Humana CEO Bruce Broussard. This perfect storm of people will culminate into a special Holiday cluster f**k of pedestrians and vehicle traffic in and around the Rockefeller Center area.  The city has also issued a gridlock alert for Thursday and Friday of this week as well.
