Every year since 1976, large numbers of people flock to the Canadian Rockies to the ever-growing Banff Film Festival.  The international film festival has made its mark as one of the top 20 film festivals in the world.  Banff goes beyond typical film festivals, truly embracing their rich mountain culture, nurturing creatives, and highlighting beautiful untold stories.

This year they are taking their show on the road, stopping in cities and towns across the US.  This week they will be in Rockland County for two nights.

About Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity

Founded in 1933, Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity is a learning organization built upon an extraordinary legacy of excellence in artistic and creative development. What started as a single course in drama has grown to become the global organization leading in arts, culture, and creativity across dozens of disciplines. From their home in the stunning Canadian Rocky Mountains, Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity aims to inspire everyone who attends our campus – artists, leaders, and thinkers – to unleash their creative potential.

“Mountain culture is our way of life in Banff, we know we have something special with this festival. It is an honour to share it with the world.” Joanna Croston, Banff Centre Mountain Book and Film Festival Director.
