Do you have a case of the winter blues?  January can be a bit sad after the holiday madness comes to an end.  If you’re a foodie like me, this will surely brighten your day.  This years NYC Winter Restaurant Week falls between January 21st and February 8th.

Reservations opened up yesterday, while it’s not mandatory to make a reservation, I would highly recommend it.  Restaurant week offers you a unique opportunity to try the cities best cuisine for as much as 50 percent off.  The event highlights a diversity of trendy spots that are typically expensive and hard to get a table.

This year there are over 380 restaurants on the list, offering prix-fixe meals with 2 course lunches for $26 and 3 course dinners for $42.  The concept of restaurant week was created in New York City in 1992 and has grown quickly, now becoming a bi-annual event.  This years event is sponsored by Open Table.

Which restaurant will you be trying this year?
