FBI Join PA, NJ and CT in Search for Suspected UCONN Killer

Police in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania are on the lookout for Peter Menfredonia, 23, last seen in Monroe County, PA.  The suspect is wanted on homicide and assault charges in Willington, CT on Friday.  Connecticut State Police say he was seen leaving a homicide and serious assault.  One of the two men died from the assault with an “edged weapon” believed to be a sword or machete.

On Sunday morning Manfredonia then went to Derby, CT where he allegedly killed a 23-year-old man.  From there Manfredonia was seen driving a 2016 black VW Jetta with a bumper sticker that read, in tribute to Newtown Victim #26, referencing the Newtown, CT shooting tragedy.  On Sunday afternoon, the VW Jetta was spotted in New Jersey near the Pennsylvania border. Later that afternoon, he was reportedly getting into an Uber in the Stroudsburg area.

The suspect was last seen wearing a Carhartt maroon hat, black and blue pajama pants, red shoes and a dark colored adidas hoodie.  He is believed to be armed and dangerous.  If you see him, do not approach and call 911 immediately.
