Legendary Pizzeria Shutdown in Brooklyn

An iconic NYC pizza establishment in Midwood has been shut down by health inspectors.  City records show there were mice present, workers wearing soiled and potentially contaminated clothing.  Di Fara, located on Avenue J and E 15th St had a total of 45 violation points and was immediately shut down for business.

Di Fara, opened in 1965 and has consistently ranked as a top pizzeria in the city. unfortunately, the pizzeria also has a history of health code violations with inspectors finding similar conditions in 2018.

Yikes, I hope they can get their act together and return to their glory days.
