North Jersey Driver Busted Going 145 mph in New York

Buckle up..

A 23-year old man from Wanaque, New Jersey is in trouble for allegedly driving a Dodge Challenger a mind-boggling 145 mph in a 65 mph zone on Route 17 in Orange County, New York.

The incident took place on Friday at around 10:15 AM (sounds like a wonderful time go 145 mph).  Jeremy van Leuvan was reportedly seen speeding and passing cars erratically.  He was quickly pulled over by Middletown troopers headed westbound on Route NY-17K.   Mr. Leuvan was cited for speeding, and charged with reckless endangerment and reckless driving, both misdemeanors.

He was issued an appearance ticket and scheduled to appear in the Town of Wallkill Court on Friday, March 13.
