NY Native Selected as 2018 “Sports Illustrated” Athlete of the Year

Rockland County’s Kate Tuohy is featured on the front page of the up coming months edition (July 30th) of Sports Illustrated. Tuohy was selected as the 2018 Female Gatorade Athlete of the Year and is a student at North Rockland High School (North Rockland Central School District)

The Rockland native appears next to JT Daniels, the nation’s No. 1 quarterback prospect before signing to play at USC.  JT is the first male to be named Gatorade National Player of the Year after his junior year of high school.

Katelyn seemed humble in receiving the Gatorade Girls Track & Field Runner of the year.  She recently completed her sophomore year and has a very bright future ahead of her.
