One of the lucky winning Powerball tickets was sold at a bodega in West Harlem (Fifth Avenue & 126th Street). Harlem residents are still waiting to see who will come forward to claim the ticket,  The unidentified winner matched all six numbers as well as the Powerball.  (8, 12, 13, 19, 27, Powerball 4)

The $688 million total was the fourth largest lottery in US history.  The only other winning ticket was sold in Iowa.  Back in New York, the owner of the bodega, Jose Espinosa only has one question, “Who was it?”

In the State of New York you are not allowed to remain anonymous and keep the dough, so it should only be a matter of days before the winner comes forward.

What a great day for Harlem.
