The Emmy-winning series “World of Dance” will bring its Live Tour to North Jersey’s premier entertainment venue, the Wellmont Theater, on Friday, Oct. 25 at 8 p.m.

With its television counterpart now three seasons in – behind former host Jenna Dewan, current host Scott Evans and judges Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo and Derek Hough – the show continues to amaze millions watching at home.
The reality competition series is executive produced by Lopez. The first two seasons were hosted by Dewan, with Evans transitioning into the role in Season 3. On screen, contestants of all dance styles compete for a $1 million grand prize.
In September 2019, “World of Dance’s” Tessandra Chavez picked up an Emmy win for Outstanding Choreography for Variety or Reality Programming. Chavez earned the victory for three routines featuring Unity LA, a group that includes popular Season 2 contestants Ashley Gonzales and Zack Everhart. (The show received a total of five nominations at the 2019 Emmys.)
The competition show was created in a partnership with premier dance brand World of Dance – a global player in dance competitions and lifestyle events.
The series came to NBC in May of 2017 and has recently been tapped for a fourth season.
