Don’t miss the 18th annual Orchid Show at the New York Botanical Gardens.  Each year, the NYBG in the Bronx puts on one of the most beautiful exhibitions in the world.  Let’s face it, New York in February can be a bit dull.  If you are looking to brighten up your life, there is no better way than to see the intense colors of the show.

This year’s guest curator is floral designer, Jeff Leatham, known for being the artistic director of the Four Season Hotel George V in Paris.  Check out his bold colors in the kaleidoscope exhibit.  Each gallery is transformed with bright colors that mimic looking into a kaleidoscope.

Thousands of meticulously placed specimen orchids overflow in the conservatory in living sculptures that are sure to impress.  Be sure to pick up some tickets and start spring early.  The exhibition runs from February 15 until April 19.
