Selecting the perfect pizza is really not a good way to make friends. There are many great regions for pizza, such as New Haven, Detroit, Old Forge, Chicago, yada yada.. We can argue from today to tomorrow, but it’s pretty much a statistical fact that New York and New Jersey have the best pizza in the country. With the largest number of Italian Americans of any state, it is no wonder.

Newly released, The Daily Meal put together their 2019 ‘The 101 Best Pizzas in America’. We have taken the time to showcase the one that made the list from our area. New York and New Jersey had a combined 34 of the 101 top spots on the list. The list offers the usual suspects as well as some amazing newcomers.
