World Earth Day Poem

World Earth Day is April 22nd,

the time which humankind has reckoned,

that our place of birth,

deserves the praise for its worth.

This planet ever so green,

with wonders nowhere else could be seen,

is where through natural forces,

we get life’s resources.

From the ocean’s blue,

to the lands growing honeydew,

is our world that is plentiful,

and scenes that are beautiful.

And when the world gets the light of the sun,

we know that our day has begun,

to keep the earth sacred and preserved,

thru keeping it healthy in the manner deserved.

Let’s continue to send the cues,

calling for recycling, rebuilding, and paying dues,

to conserve this earth for more generations to reuse.
